How we earn money, what a partner can and can't buy, and how we keep commercial arrangements out of the scoring.
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. Follow one and later register with that operator, and we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes a score, a ranking or a written verdict.
How it works
We have affiliate agreements with the operators featured here, or with their marketing networks. Payment is usually a flat fee per qualifying registration, or a cut of the operator's net revenue. All we're told is aggregate numbers - never who you are, what you deposited, or what you wagered.
What a partner can't buy
- A score, a star rating or a spot in any table
- Softening or removal of a criticism in a review
- A place on this site if it fails our licence check
- An early look at a review before it's published
- Editorial coverage dressed up as an independent assessment
How we keep the two apart
Reviewers work off a fixed checklist that has no commercial input built into it. Commission rates sit with one person outside the editorial process and aren't visible while an assessment is happening. If a partner brand fails a check, that failure gets published in the same words we'd use for anyone else. Lose a Great Britain licence, and the review comes down that same week, whatever it was worth to us.
How links are labelled
Every outbound operator link carries rel="sponsored nofollow", opens in a new tab, and sits next to an 18+ notice. Every page here carries this disclosure line in the footer. A brand we have a commercial relationship with isn't presented any differently from one we don't, because the method behind the review is identical either way.
Advertising standards
We follow the CAP Code and the Gambling Commission's advertising rules for Great Britain: nothing here targets under-18s or vulnerable people, we don't frame gambling as a fix for money trouble or a route to social status, we don't pressure readers with urgency, and we don't call a bonus risk-free when wagering conditions apply to it.
Accuracy of offers
Operator terms, limits and available content are set by the operator and can change without telling us. Treat anything shown here as indicative - the operator's own terms always take priority.
